How do you get Octophant?
The community special-Egg guide associates Octophant with the Unstable Egg in the Laboratory trade-in system. In the dated Revenge Lab walkthrough, the active banner determines the requested inputs and output pool. Read the current request before submitting anything.
The reviewed Lab screen reports a 22% Unstable DNA banner rotation chance. That is not a 22% chance to hatch Octophant: the individual outcome odds and Pity counter belong to a separate panel. No reliable Octophant-specific percentage is established here.

Unstable Egg, mastery reward and Lab result are different steps
The dated Boss Mastery table also lists an Unstable Egg at 21 kills and a Scrambled Unstable Egg at 90. Those milestones describe Egg rewards, not a guaranteed Octophant. Do not treat the differently named Scrambled reward as interchangeable with the regular Egg.
Before choosing a route, check the current Lab banner or unlocked mastery reward, then inspect the exact Egg in your inventory. The community roster supports the pet-to-pool association, but does not establish today’s Lab recipe, availability or pity threshold.
How much does Octophant earn?
The community index defines its base figures for normal-size, unmutated pets. It reports $4B/s for Octophant; this site has not independently measured that base rate. These figures are useful for comparing the reported entries, not for promising the result of a particular hatch.
