Defeat Dr. Scramble’s Mech and open Boss Mastery to claim a Biohazard Egg at one kill. For Lab rewards, collect the three specified Eggs, not hatched Pets. Check the current request and banner before spending them.
Fight the Mech, then check Boss Mastery for your Egg
Revenge is the September 26 Mech and Laboratory update. For the earlier drone fights, Samples, Nibbles quest and Experiment Shop, use the Dr. Scramble Experiments guide.
The fight has three phases, starting with Dr. Scramble’s Mech. After the fight, open the bottle-icon event menu and select Boss Mastery. The panel uses 1 Boss Kill = 1 Mastery; check that your counter advanced, then claim any unlocked rewards.

Fight route: portal, Mech, Core, then Dr. Scramble
Use the timed portal in the Forest Biome. Break the Mech, disable its Core, then hit the fleeing Dr. Scramble three times.
- Mech: leave marked charge areas, avoid the pursuing mechanical crocodile, and clear drones with your bat. Back away from lasers and ground attacks; use its stationary overheating window to attack.
- Core: when targeted, lead it toward a small blue tower to briefly immobilize it. Attack during that opening and repeat until defeated.
- Finish: chase Dr. Scramble, complete the final hits, then inspect Samples and Boss Mastery rather than leaving immediately after the Mech falls.
Dr. Scramble’s Lab needs three specific Eggs
Read all three names in your current Lab panel before collecting. One request uses Red Panda Egg (Mythic), Salamander Egg (Legendary) and Snowy Owl Egg (Cosmic), all from Cherry Blossom. Each slot asks for one Egg. Requests vary, so do not stockpile that combination without checking your panel.
Keep matching Eggs unhatched: the Lab takes Eggs, unlike the earlier Pet-based Rift mechanic. Check the inputs before using Add, especially with valuable Eggs; refund and cancellation rules are unclear.
The banner rotation lists 42% Biohazard Pets, 36% Experimental Pets and 22% Unstable DNA. These are rotation chances—not a 22% chance to hatch a particular Pet. Output odds and the Pity counter appear in a separate panel.
An Experimental Pets panel from September 27 shows Pity 0/100, two free rerolls and a request for Cosmic Gorilla, Centipede and Mantaris Eggs. Use your current panel for the available rerolls and requested Eggs.
Update 6: Lab Pity and the 100-tier boss track
September 26 community update notes describe the Lab replacing the Rift Trade-In Machine with three banners and 15 new Pets. They also report a Pity change: reaching Pity awards the top reward, rather than a random reward from the top three.
The notes give a 30-minute Mecha return, Samples for each victory, and a 100-tier Boss Milestone ending with an Eternal. Use your server countdown for the next fight. A very rare Divine boss drop is also reported, but its name and odds are not given; it is separate from the guaranteed milestone track.
The paid Extinction Egg has six base animals and a rare Skeletal reroll. Its Shop panel lists six regular animal cards plus a Skeletal variant card at 1%. Check current Shop odds before purchasing. This paid Egg is separate from free Boss Mastery claims.

- The reported rare Divine drop has no published odds.

The API stores exact UTC timestamps. This table converts the same event object into common local zones; calendar dates change across regions, so a screenshot showing September 27 or 28 need not mean the event was delayed.

Boss Mastery progresses through kills. The Lab requests named Eggs. The older Sample Shop uses its own currency and offers. A reward appearing in one menu does not make it purchasable in another. Before spending, check the menu heading, input type and actual button; then leave room in your inventory for anything you claim.
