Fusion is a paid reroll, not a guaranteed upgrade. The captured machine accepted three Scorpions of the same species, including a Silver variant, charged $114M, produced an Egg, and hatched an 86kg Scorpion—lighter than every input.
Fusion rerolled three Scorpions into one Egg, then an 86kg Pet
| Fusion field | Captured result |
|---|---|
| Species rule | Three Scorpions; same species required |
| Input count | 3 |
| Variant mix | Silver accepted alongside other Scorpions |
| Input weights | 457kg + 256kg + 247kg = 960kg total |
| Visible fee | $114M |
| Immediate output | Egg |
| Hatch result | Scorpion, 86kg |
| Upgrade guaranteed? | No — the result was lighter than all three inputs |

What the weight result means
The 86kg output was only 8.96% of the three-input total and 34.82% of the lightest input. That disproves simple addition and disproves a guaranteed minimum equal to the weakest Pet.
The visible text says better pets bring more luck, but it does not publish a floor, probability, weight formula, mutation inheritance rule, or guaranteed improvement.
How to interpret community advice
Community pages correctly pointed to three same-type inputs and an Egg output, but those statements were incomplete without an observed failure. The current transaction adds the important part: even expensive Mythic inputs can reroll downward.
| Claim | Current reading |
|---|---|
| Three same species are required | Captured |
| Silver can mix with standard inputs | Captured once |
| More input weight guarantees more output weight | False in this transaction |
| Silver is inherited | Not visibly preserved |
| Better pets improve exact odds | UI says “more luck”; no numbers |
| Fee formula | Unknown; one $114M sample |
When fusion is worth considering
- 1Use true duplicatesKeep the strongest instance of the species outside the machine.
- 2Compare the visible feeRecord what the same money could buy in treadmill, base, or egg attempts.
- 3Assume a bad roll is possibleOnly proceed when losing the input weight and variants will not break your lineup.
- 4Record the Egg and hatch resultWeight and income after hatching decide whether the gamble helped.
Before confirming the machine, copy every visible input variant or mutation label into the calculator. A blank output label cannot prove that Silver, Golden, or another modifier was preserved or lost.

Fuse Machine FAQ
What does the Fuse Machine do?
In the captured transaction, it consumed three same-species Pets and a visible fee, produced an Egg, then rerolled the same species when that Egg hatched. That is one observed flow, not proof of every possible output.
Is the Fuse Machine risky?
Yes. The captured output was lighter than every input. Use the pre-fusion risk planner, keep your strongest or irreplaceable copy outside the machine, and proceed only when a bad roll will not break your lineup.
Does fusion save Pet slots?
The machine consumes three inputs and produces one Egg in the captured transaction. That suggests eventual roster consolidation after hatching, but the exact pen and hatch-slot behavior should be read in the live UI.
Can fusion produce a different species?
Not established. The captured Scorpion inputs produced a Scorpion Egg and an 86kg Scorpion.
Should I fuse a Silver Pet?
Only if it is expendable. A Silver input was accepted, but Silver was not visibly preserved in the result.
