Count down to a local date and time

Use an exact future time from Prediction or a current announcement. It is interpreted in this device’s timezone.

Choose a target within the next 23h 59m. Starting it turns repeat off.

Pausing shifts the finish time. Reapply the target to synchronize again.
Saved intervals

Keep up to five named server or event presets on this device.

Optional alert while this browser session stays open. The timer still works if alerts are blocked.

Install Steal An Egg Tools

Open the Timer like an app from your Home Screen or desktop. Installation keeps the same website and does not connect to Roblox.

If your browser does not show an install prompt, open the manual steps below.

Manual install steps
  1. iPhone or iPadOpen this page in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
  2. AndroidOpen the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Desktop Chrome or EdgeUse the install icon in the address bar or the browser’s app menu.

The installed name is Steal An Egg Tools or the short name Egg Tools. Enable notifications separately after installation.

Use it as a reminder, not a radar.

The timer is most useful when you actively synchronize it. A countdown started at a random moment is just a pretty clock.

  1. 1
    Observe

Wait for a visible event or a current creator announcement.

  2. 2
    Sync

Set the current interval and start immediately after the event.

  3. 3
    Prepare

Use the last minute to stop training and move toward your route.

  4. 4
    Re-check

Reset after a server hop, update, missed event, or drift.

Rare egg timer FAQ

Does this timer detect rare egg spawns?

No. It only counts time in your browser and cannot access the Roblox server.

Can Prediction send a Shop refresh or another target here?

Yes. The handoff can carry the target and server or test label you entered into the page, share text, tab-only notification, and optional close-tab reminder. Those labels are context only and do not mean the Timer detected or synchronized with that server.

Can I count down to an exact local date and time?

Yes. Choose a future local date and time within the next 23 hours 59 minutes. The page converts it to actual remaining seconds, turns repeat off, and starts immediately. The field uses your device timezone and still cannot detect a Roblox server.

What is the current rare egg spawn time?

A cached official description previously mentioned five minutes. The current official description checked on Oct 4, 2026 no longer publishes a cadence, so five minutes remains an editable planning default rather than a guaranteed server timer.

Will the timer alert me after I close the page?

Yes, if you enable Close-tab reminder before starting. It schedules one notification for the end of that countdown. Your device must remain online, and this still does not detect the game server.

How do I enable close-tab reminders on iPhone or iPad?

In Safari, add this site to your Home Screen, open the installed app, enable Close-tab reminder, and allow notifications. Regular Safari tabs cannot receive these alerts.

What is the timer app called, and how do I install it?

The installable web app is named Steal An Egg Tools, with the short Home Screen name Egg Tools. Use the Install app button above when available, or choose Add to Home Screen from Safari or your browser menu. Installation does not automatically grant notification permission.

Why did my close-tab reminder not arrive?

Check internet access, system notification settings, Focus, and battery-saving modes. Start a timer with at least five seconds remaining after enabling the feature. Browser delivery can be delayed, so never treat it as a guaranteed spawn signal.

Can the notification make a sound, vibrate, or stay visible?

The timer requests normal notification sound, a short vibration pattern on supported devices, and persistent display on supported desktop browsers. Your browser, operating system, Focus mode, notification style, and hardware make the final decision. Websites cannot choose a custom notification sound.
