Flyswatter is reported to be equipped and used like a bat. To try for it, follow the Hungry Monster feeding loop and open a Monster Chest: the reviewed reward panel lists Flyswatter at 5% and Monstrous Egg at 1.5%. Neither reward is guaranteed after a fixed number of chests.
Flyswatter is reported as an equippable bat-like item
Reported use: equip it from inventory and use it like your bat. That is the practical instruction in Pro Game Guides' Flyswatter FAQ. It is an equippable item, not the Egg reward or one of the three five-minute boosts shown above it on the chest panel.
A September 4 Flyswatter guide describes using it against rival players and reports an 8% bonus. We have not verified the affected stat, hit duration, or knockback behavior; the reward screenshot does not display that bonus. Do not read “bat skin” as proof of either purely cosmetic behavior or a measured combat advantage.
How to get and equip it
- Use the feeding route below while the Hungry Monster and its reward panel are available in your server.
- Open the resulting Monster Chest and check which reward the roll actually awards.
- If Flyswatter is awarded, find it in your inventory and equip it as described by the guide. Receiving a timed boost is a different outcome, not a Flyswatter unlock.
Check the event NPC before farming. The reviewed screenshot has a departure countdown; it is not a live timer. Do not assume that the Shop offer timer or the separate Rift Event determines this NPC's exact availability.
How to feed the Hungry Monster
- 1Find a visibly infested EggCurrent guides describe a purple Parasite attached to the shell and commonly report Snow or later areas; the exact current biome rule is not creator-confirmed here.
- 2Complete the returnCarry the Egg back to the safe starting area before treating the Parasite as secured.
- 3Use the live Feed Parasite promptCurrent reports place the Hungry Monster near the Sell/Fuse area. Read the current interaction instead of copying a fixed key from another device.
- 4Verify the 20% progress changeIf the bar does not move, do not count the feed. Five accepted feeds are reported to reach 100%.
- 5Open the Monster Chest and record the labelCapture the exact reward name and effect shown in your current server, especially for Flyswatter or the 1.5% Egg slot.

Hungry Monster FAQ
What does the Flyswatter do in Steal An Egg?
Pro Game Guides describes Flyswatter as an item you equip from inventory and use like your bat. The reviewed Monster Chest screenshot lists a 5% chance, but does not show its effect or an 8% boost. Exact hit effects and bonus values remain untested here.
How many Parasites make one Monster Chest?
Three current reporting outlets describe 20% progress per accepted Parasite and five feeds for one Monster Chest. This remains community-observed until a creator-owned instruction or current capture is stored.
Is one rare Egg guaranteed after 67 Monster Chests?
No. At a reported 1.5% chance per chest, 67 independent rolls give about a 63.7% chance of at least one result, not a guarantee. No verified pity system is assumed.
Are Parasite Egg and Monstrous Egg the same item?
The reviewed Monster Chest screenshot names the 1.5% reward Monstrous Egg. Parasite Egg is alternate wording in some guides, not a second outcome on that panel. An infested map Egg used for feeding and the Shop Monster Egg are separate contexts.
Source and reward limits
The official Monster event ↗ confirms the event identity and theme, not the feeding loop or Chest odds. Community gameplay panels reviewed September 4 support the displayed reward labels; separate community equipment reporting supports bat-like Flyswatter use. Original screenshot capture dates and current server availability remain unknown.
August 30–31 community walkthroughs use both Parasite Egg and Monstrous Egg wording. The readable reward panel shows Monstrous Egg as the 1.5% slot, but does not establish permanent odds, independent rolls, or a universal Flyswatter effect.
